The town of Middletown is located in southeastern Delaware County. The southeast town line is the border of Ulster County, and the northeast town line is the border of Greene County. The eastern part of the town is in the Catskill Park. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 97.3 square miles and a 2010 Census of 3,759 people. The township includes two incorporated villages — Margaretville and Fleischmanns — as well as the hamlets of Arkville, Clovesville, Dunraven, Halcottsville, Kelly Corners and New Kingston.
