Chamber Membership Services working to make your business life easier

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of Delaware County, and its adjacent areas, so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper.
Its mission is to offer a foundation of benefits that can help member businesses grow and prosper and thereby promote the economic well being of Delaware County.
This page highlights the many benefits you will receive as a chamber member. With strength in numbers, our chamber is committed to furthering economic growth and development, while maintaining the exceptional quality of life we have all come to enjoy.

Legislative Advocacy
As the voice of business, the Chamber champions business issues on local, regional, state, and national levels. Our Chamber provides a unified voice for your individual concerns. We are also members of the United States Chamber of Commerce. The New York State Chamber Alliance, The National Federation of Independent Businesses, and The New York State Business Council.

Health Insurance
The Chamber, through The Mang Insurance Agency offers group health insurance plans to members of the Chamber. Comprehensive plans are offered through Excellus Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Other health maintenance organization plans offered through MVP and CDPHP. Health Savings Accounts are also offered through SSA.

Credit Card Acceptance Program
The Chamber offers a full line of discounted credit card needs for all types of businesses. For information, call the County Chamber.

Networking Opportunities
The Chamber offers several opportunities for members to meet socially and network with others doing business in Delaware County. These meetings encourage businesses to partner, leading to synergistic results.

Tourism Promotion
The Chamber is the official tourism promotion agency for Delaware County and applies annually for matching funds grants under the I Love New York program. The Chamber also manages information center services, motorcoach development, travel inquiry mailings, and travel and trade show attendance.

Member Referrals
When the Chamber receives inquiries regarding businesses or professionals in Delaware County (and we receive hundreds each year), ONLY Chamber members are referred.

Group Discount Savings
The purchasing strength of our combined membership affords each member the opportunity to receive discounts normally available on large purchases. Free Brochure Distribution
Display space in the Chamber Office is exclusively reserved for brochures of Chamber members.

Office Services
The Chamber's office equipment is available for members' use at low cost. Our fax can be used for both incoming and outgoing messages.
Notary
The Chamber offers notary services free to its members.

Promotional Opportunities
Promote your business to other Chamber members by advertising in the Chamber newsletter, sponsoring an event or taking advantage of other opportunities only available to Chamber members.

Professional Seminars and Conferences
The Chamber sponsors events throughout the year designed to give our members the information they need to keep competitive. From short one-evening seminars to those lasting several sessions will be offered. In addition, the Chamber has information on upcoming seminars and conferences which may be of interest to members.

Member to Member Savings Some Chamber members offer other Chamber members savings and discounts on goods and services, including financial services and disability insurance. Click here to see what savings are available.

Relocation Information
The Chamber offers assistance to new and potential residents by providing vital information on our community, including local schools, realtors and related services.

Certificate of Origin
The Chamber can provide and sign Certificate of Origin for those businesses requiring this documentation.

Regional Representation
Chamber officials act as a liaison with other Central New York Chambers to represent the interest of our Chamber members

Energy Savings
Chamber members, through Integry's Energy Services, offers NYSEG users, approximately 5 to 15 percent lower rates on their monthly electric usage. For information on the County Chamber's Energy Savings Program, call Integry's Energy Services at 585-872-5790 and ask for Clark Taylor. He will be able to assist you with the Chamber's program.
